Religious Education is about the whole of life; its ups and downs, its questions, mysteries and choices. It makes room for non-religious as well as religious points of view. We need to understand a variety of beliefs and values if we are to make sense of the world today.

But how much do you know already?

Do you know a lot about Christianity? What about other religions and philosophies of life? How much have you considered life's big questions and what different people have to say about them?

Work through the following three activities to test yourself.

• The first activity will test your knowledge and understanding of some aspects of Christianity.
• The second will see what you know and understanding about another religion or philosophy of life.
• The final activity tests how well you can express your own ideas and insights about the questions and issues raised in RE.
